Diboll ISD Safety Update:

Earlier today, during its regular afternoon route, a Diboll ISD school bus made contact with a low-hanging service power line. We want to assure our community that all students on board were safe and every parent of the impacted students has been contacted directly.

Oncor and emergency services are actively investigating the cause of the low-hanging line.

We also want to commend our bus driver for their quick thinking and skillful driving, which ensured the safety of our students in this unexpected situation.

The safety of our students is always our highest priority, and we are grateful for the support of our first responders and utility partners as they work to prevent future incidents.
